PHILADELPHIA — The Phillies scored three runs in the 1st inning, which is all the run support Cole Hamels would get and need.
Hamels pitched his first shutout of the season in the Phillies 3-0 win over the Braves, snapping a four-game losing streak to Atlanta.
Jimmy Rollins and Domonic Brown led off the bottom of the 1st with back-to-back doubles to give the Phillies a 1-0 lead. Two batters later, Ryan Howard hit a two-run homer to left center to give the Phillies the 3-0 lead.

Phillies catcher Erik Kratz stayed hot, going 2-for-3 with a double in the win.
