Spring Training: Blue Jays 2, Phillies 0

Cliff Lee looks to be in season form.

The Phillies lefty only gave up one run on five hits in six innings on Thursday afternoon in a 2-0 loss to the Toronto Blue Jays. He also had seven strikeouts and didn’t issue a walk.

Adam Lind had an RBI single in the fourth inning.

Carlos Ruiz has the only Phillie with more than one hit as he went 2-for-3 on the day.

Chad Qualls tossed a shutout inning while Jose Contreras gave up an unearned run in the ninth inning.
