The Phillies got a bit of bad news after today’s game.
Utility infielder Michael Martinez fractured his fourth metatarsal in today’s Spring Training game against the Orioles. Orioles reliever Joe Johnson hit Martinez in the right foot.
He was seen in a walking boot after the game.
With Martinez as the Phillies top utility infielder, that means Pete Orr is going to most likely make the Opening Day roster.
