Phillies fall short against Pirates

The Phillies were completely shut down for eight innings.
However they did rally and score a pair of runs in the ninth inning but ultimately fell to the Pittsburgh Pirates 3-2 on Friday afternoon.
No Phillies batters had more than one hit. They only had six as a team.
Freddy Galvis continued his great spring as he went 1-for-3 to push his average to .273.
Kevin Frandsen had a sacrifice fly which scored Hector Luna.
Miguel Abreu had an RBI single that plated Lou Montanez.
The Phillies only used two pitchers in Cliff Lee and Kyle Kendrick.
Lee gave up three runs on five hits in 4.2 innings of work. He also struck out five and walked one. Kendrick pitched 3.1 innings of hitless baseball and also struck out five.
