Howard had surgery this morning

Phillies first baseman Ryan Howard had surgery this morning in Baltimore. Dr. Mark Myerson, a renown orthopedic surgeon did the surgery on his ruptured left Achillies tendon.

Yesterday, Phillies general manager Ruben Amaro said that Howard will likely be out four months after the surgery. He is hopeful to have his star slugger back in the line up by April.
