It’s a homecoming for the Phillies’ RF Hunter Pence and SP Roy Oswalt in tonight’s game. Pence was traded to the Phillies on July 29 for a handful of prospects and has had an immediate on this team. Roy Oswalt was traded to the Phils a year prior to Pence for J.A. Happ and a handful of prospects. This is will be his first trip back to Houston as a Phillie.

It’s been opposite ends of the spectrum for Oswalt and Happ who were traded for each other 14 months ago. Oswalt, despite the back problems, is still an incredibly reliable starter for a Phils team with the best record in baseball. Happ has not been so good, posting a dismal 5-15 record and 5.77 ERA this season.

But before Happ’s game against the Phils tomorrow, another former Phillie is taking the mound tonight. Brett Myers has already pitched a couple times against the Phils and has looked strong in both starts. But the rest of his season numbers aren’t too strong. He will face Oswalt tonight in what should be a very interesting pitching match up.

In other news, Jimmy Rollins will be starting in tonight’s game. That comes as a huge boost with Chase Utley out with a concussion and Wilson Valdez nursing a hurt hamstring.

As per request from @xochristinaxo from Philliedelphia, he tweeted the picture of the line up card.
