VICTORINO BACK TO PHILLY — Phillies center fielder Shane Victorino was sent back to Philadelphia to have his right thumb examined. Victorino injured the thumb in Sunday’s loss to the Blue Jays when his cleats caught the turf and he fell awkwardly on his hand.

MAYBERRY CALLED UP — As expected, John Mayberry was called up to take the roster spot vacated by Vance Worley. Mayberry may get the start in CF tonight with Victorino back in Philadelphia.
