Ruiz to the DL

Cue the circus music.

In what is looking like a repeat of last season, the Phillies took another hit from the injury ninja (sorry Mike, we’re stealing this one).

Carlos Ruiz was placed on the DL today – retroactive to April 28 – after being inactive for over a week reported CSN’s Leslie Gudel on Twitter.

This is good timing (I guess) because Joe Blanton will be coming off the DL tomorrow and start in Monday night’s game.
