Castillo, who signed late Sunday/early Monday, still is not in Clearwater. He was slated to start today and wear #3 but instead was scratched and replaced by Wilson Valdez. Castillo’s chance to make the Phillies went from nine games to eight.
Whatever the reason, Castillo is blowing the opportunity to make $6 million from someone this season.
