If the this were the regular season and the Phillies were losing games to the Orioles, then I would be worried.

But it’s just spring training as the Phillies lost 6-5 to Baltimore, dropping them to 2-3 in Grapefruit League play.

Roy Oswalt made his first start of the spring, going two innings and allowing a run on two hits and a walk while striking out one. Brad Lidge pitched the third, giving up a run on three hits.

Michael Martinez and John Mayberry hit back-to-back homers in the bottom of the ninth. Mayberry finished the day 2-for-4 with a double, homer, run and RBI. Delwyn Young and Ryan Howard also drove in runs.

Domonic Brown, who has failed to get a hit all spring and has struck out eight times in 12 at-bats, didn’t play at all and Carlos Ruiz was down in Panama with the baby Chooches.

The Phillies play Boston tomorrow at 1:05. Cole Hamels will get the start.

2B: Howard, Mayberry. 3B: Orr. HR: Martinez, Mayberry.
