Durbin signs with Indians; Phils v. Yanks

As reported on Twitter last night, the Cleveland Indians have reportedly signed former Phillies relieve Chad Durbin to a one-year deal.

Durbin was a possible candidate to return to the Phillies bull pen this season but the Indians pried him away. The deal is worth $800,000 with $1 million in incentives.

The 33-year-old was 4-1 with a 3.80 ERA in 64 appearances last season with the Phillies. He will fill one of the glaring holes in the Indians bull pen.
