Hot (last 7) – Chase Utley: .349 (10-for-29), 5 R, 2 2B, 2 HR, 5 RBI.
Players to Watch – Dustin Pedroia: Like the previous player to watch, Pedroia is the everything for the Sox. He fields, hits for power, and average. Pedroia is batting .287 and his tied for the team lead in homers (8) and second in RBIs (25).
-Kevin Youkilis: Youk is such a good ball player. He is one of those players teams wish they had. He can play multiple positions in the field and play them well. He is also a .300 hitter and can hit 3o homers and 100 RBIs a year.
Both Youk and Pedroia can change games, especially with them only separated by a batter in the order.
Series Overview: It’s the start of inter-league play… The Phillies always struggle with teams in the AL, especially the east… Boston has won three straight games while the Phillies offense is looking to get itself back to hitting… Boston has the pitching advantage with Lackey while Dice-K vs. KK is going to be a push. Halladay has a clear advantage over Wakefield as well… I’m not making a series prediction seeing as it isn’t going over too well.
