The Phillies beat the Florida State Seminols in their first game of the 2010 season, 13-6. The Phillies scored 13 runs on eight hits but were walked 16 times. J.A. Happ pitched two shut out innings, allowing a hit and striking out one. Phillippe Aumont looked shaky, giving up five runs on two hits and three walks in two-thirds innings pitched.

From Corey Dowlar of Warchant.com and posted on Macho Row:

It’s an honor that they let us play them. They might get one or two at bats and be done with it, but it isn’t every day you get to face Ryan Howard, Jimmy Rollins, and all those guys.”
– Florida State’s Tyler Holt.

“I was reflecting on it once I calmed down in the dugout,” Tapley said. “I was like man, that’s probably one of the top moments, baseball wise of my life.”
– Florida State’s Stuart Tapley, reflecting on his third inning three-run home run off Phillippe Aumont.

Here is the complete box score.
